Good show loved the Lady Loop with horns and friends! Has me considering a 6 hour drive to see next weeks Troubadour show. Yesterday was the greatest day in LMA history (for me) with this show being added and the deadhead reunion show from Monday @ the Warfield (link below) being added too. For all you Heads on the ALO scene I was @ the dead show and was on the floor for the final set and the "real thing was better than the dream" Mickey Hart's drumming is just something you can't get with Phil & Friends or Ratdog! Mickey pushed the tempo on Sugaree like a "runaway train rollin' down the tracks" and finally the crowd couldn't contain themselves any longer and gave it up for the band 4/5th of the way thru the song. Ian Stone did a great job recording this and capturing the true sound of the room. Bobby, Phil & Mickey all playing together again only thing missing was Bill Kruetzman but we seen him on new years with ALO which was off the hook too. Everybody had huge smiles on there faces including famous deadhead Bill Walton who was in attendance on the floor too. For one night I was "living in a Plastic Bubble And it's good" :)
