ALOha ALOvers,
What a great weekend at SOhO. Saturday night was packed and Sunday was about half full. Band was able to stretch out and really delve into some of their more jammy songs. Highlights include Shapeshifter and Wasting Time openers, sweet Try jam, Boogie on Reggae Woman (yeah!) Time is of > Once in a Lifetime > the Essence, Kolomana > Sexo y Drogas (sick!), Womb, Mudbone's Abduction (O...M...G!!!), Chilly Chile, Busy Killing Time > Heart of Glass > Gardener, One Size, and last but not least a romping Hot Tub to top off another great SOhO run. Zach sprinkled fire and ash references throughout due to the raging 200,000 acre Zaca Fire that has scorched almost the entire Santa Barbara backcountry wilderness and coated SB with a layer of white ash over the last month and a half. There were no audience tapers present, so no go for the matrixs, but we got nice sounding boards from both nights, with minor delays getting the tape started for Shapeshifter and Possibly Drown. Thank you ALO for making such fun music to boggie to, and for putting in that extra energy to make these shows shine.

Keepin' it wild and free,
+Irie Pete

Hey Irie Pete,

I wasn't ab;e to make the Soho shows. But I was able to make the first three and loved every minute. Do you think the Soho shows will be posted on archive or is there another place I should look? Any tapers in the first three shows?

Soho shows were my 6th & 7th ALO shows. I'm officially LIBERATED! First Hot Tub, well worth the wait and it was an encore to boot...Nice call Hillary! Lebo broke/shredded a guitar string during Lady Loop I beleive, that lead to the band all playing the back up instruments to the end...
Smooty - Beer Bottle
Zack - Mini air-blown keyboard (name anyone???)
Lebo - Kids whistle (name anyone???)
Dave - I forgot what he was playing?

2 sets is were the money's at with these guys. Soho brings out the best in them, I'm glad I finally got a chance to see them @ there old stomping grounds!

The hippie in me wants to go on tour with this band for an extended run!
