ALO is one of the greatest bands! I love their style, lyrics, and kicka$$ virtuosity of their instruments. And....all of em sing!! Yessss.

I was wondering how Dan gets his guitar sound? I didn't know he mainly used an acoustic guitar.....until I saw them live for the first time. I really dig how he uses feedback. What kind of effect does he use when he's working with the feedback? Sounds wikked, though. He's also the Funkmeister with the guitar riffs...:cool:

guitar - Dan plays a Takamine EG5445SC-4C strung with D’Addario EJ16s, foregoing the built-in electronics for a Sunrise magnetic soundhole pickup that he’s wired straight to the output jack.

effects - Dan sends his signal to a custom true-bypass system that allows him to choose from myriad pedals, including a Sunrise SB-1 preamp, Musitronics MuTron III, Geoffrey Teese RMC3LE wah, Klon Centaur overdrive, Fulltone Deja Vibe, script logo MXR Phase 90, Analog Man Bi-Comprosser, Foxrox Octron, and Ernie Ball volume pedal.

i have been a playing for years and i have never herd of any one using an acoustic guitar the way he does...... he has killer tone its awsome!!!
