I'm hoping someone has been to XPN's Festival before and can shed some light on start times and such. It looks to me like Steve and Dan will be playing with Brett Dennen on Saturday night at 8:00, then ALO will be playing early (?) on Sunday afternoon, then Steve/Dan/Brett will be in Atlantic City at the Borgata on Sunday later. Whew, seems like quite a schedule!!

I'll be taking 2 of my kids and whatever friends I can get to go, and we'll probably take the ferry over from Penns Landing on Sunday. The ferry schedule says it goes on the hour from Philly, gates open at the festival at 12:00, so I am assuming we would arrive in plenty of time on a 12:00 ferry. I just don't want to miss ALO if they play first!!! I'm a little paranoid, as I had a similar experience at Kokua 2006, I listened to ALO while waiting in the will-call line (and I should have been sitting in my fourth row seat!!) Darn kids fell asleep in the car....:)

Anybody know anything? I suspect this is going to be a great place to see these guys! I've heard it is a kid-friendly venue and a nice festival.

Hi! ALO's promotions manager, Erik Koral, said that ALO is playing on Sun July 22nd at Wiggins Park at 2:40pm. I don't know how long the set will be.

Thanks for the info on the Brett Dennen set time.

Brett is on KFOG live this Wed July 11th at 9:15am PST, according to his myspace page. www.kfog.com. You can stream it online.

I'll see you at the festival:)

Thanks for the info! I hadn't checked the forum in a while.....just today I checked the XPN website, they now have ALO listed at 2:40 - 3:25 -- so I guess we get 45 minutes!!

So I'm not stressing over getting there early. Looks like it will be beautiful weather, too. See you there!

The Festival was awesome. It was a really beautiful day, and the guys played the River Stage -- just behind them the Delaware River and the Phila. skyline. Taking the ferry over from Penns Landing was really nice.

Of course they sounded great and we were able to stand right up front, met up with Nicole, crowd was great -- into the music, everybody having a great time. I will definitely go to this festival again.

After, XPN had a meet and greet in a members-only area, we didn't figure that out until it was almost too late. But, we did get to say hi to the guys. Just an all-around great day.
