is it just a acoustic with a Pickup installed? it sounds like an electric with a really clean cut. does anyone know what kind of guitar it is? we saw them in Raleigh this past wed and i couldn't get to the front to check out his stuff. any help would be appreciated from the gear heads ;-) thanks

effects - Dan sends his signal to a custom true-bypass system that allows him to choose from myriad pedals, including a Sunrise SB-1 preamp, Musitronics MuTron III, Geoffrey Teese RMC3LE wah, Klon Centaur overdrive, Fulltone Deja Vibe, script logo MXR Phase 90, Analog Man Bi-Comprosser, Foxrox Octron, and Ernie Ball volume pedal.

i have been a playing for years and i have never herd of any one using an acoustic guitar the way he does...... he has killer tone its awsome!!!

wow ,that certainly was a good explanation, so it is just an accoustic then, with a custom single coil pickup that he uses for effects. thats pretty sweet, i dig, i dig :)
